The Use of Containment
Here are pictures from a water damage that happened in a very fancy home.
A pipe broke in the bathroom upstairs and caused water damage to the ceiling the living room below.
In a effort to not make more problems for the owner we set up a containment area in the living room to keep the drywall dust and other materials from spreading throughout the house as we removed the damaged section.
We left the containment up for the contractor who came out and replaced the drywall in the ceiling, and then prepped and painted it.
The owner was very pleased that we looked at the big picture and kept the remediation from causing her more trouble.
